A man in Singapore has taken to Facebook to accuse a GrabFood deliverywoman of hurling racist vulgarities at him while making a delivery to him.
The incident took place on Dec 7, which happened to be the man’s birthday.
Gets called ‘k*ling’ by deliverywoman
According to the man named Amritpal Singh, he was minding his own business when the Grabfood deliverywoman arrived at his front door and tossed a box of cupcakes onto the shoe rack outside his house.

She then proceeded to berate him for not picking up her phone calls.
Stupid Indian, rude k*ling people, don’t know how to answer phone call!
Taken aback by the sudden outburst, Amritpal asked the deliverywoman what was the issue but she continued to shout racial vulgarities, even reaching the ears of his three neighbours.
Asked friend what was going on
Still stunned by the encounter, Amritpal contacted his friend who had ordered the cupcakes to tell her of the unpleasant exchange.
He then discovered that she had missed two of the deliverywoman’s calls as she was in the middle of an online meeting.

The friend also told him that she was shouted at by the deliverywoman who demanded to know the unit’s address or if Amritpal could come down and take the order himself.
The delivery lady shouted at my friend and asked “Eh what’s the unit number or (you) come down collect, I got other deliveries to do.
Despite the deliverywoman’s rudeness, Amritpal’s friend calmly said that the unit number was already stated in the note’s section of the electronic order chit.
Repeatedly used racial slurs
However, what pushed Amritpal to the limit was when the deliverywoman continued to type racial slurs in the chat.

“Dah k*ling…k*ling jugak nak suruh kita call.” (You already a k*ling…k*ling already still want to order us to call (you)”.
Needless to say, this left Amritpal deeply angered and insulted, writing that the slur was equivalent to the N-word.
Demanded an apology
Towards the end, Amritpal threatened to lodge a police report should the deliverywoman fail to apologise or Grab not providing an update.
He also expressed his hope that Grab “would do something about this, like train her how to give a service.”
Not long after, Grab responded to the complaint in the comment section yesterday (Dec 9).

Regardless of whether you’re having a bad day or not, it’s unacceptable to call someone using racial slurs!
