Runway ready

TikToker @wafieyneedu, a 27 year-old Fashion Design Arts graduate, recently shared a series of videos showing him putting on dresses made out of various political party flags!

The first clip was of him strutting down a neighborhood in a ballgown made from PKR flags during GE14 back in 2018 along with a headdress similar to what local singer Yuna wears.

Just for fun

Speaking to mStar, the TikToker, whose real name is Muhamad Zulwafi Ahmad Rosli said the dresses were made purely for fun.

He added that it wasn’t to display support for a particular political party but to share his creativity and cheer everyone on during the election season.

Elections don’t happen every year, so I just want to make it fun for my followers and liven up the atmosphere.

“I’m not into politics. I hope people don’t take it seriously,” he quipped.

A+ for creativity

@wafieyneedu’s videos has since become a hit among netizens, who praised him for his creativity in designing the outfits.
