We all would occasionally get into moments of rage whenever we are rudely cut off or have a near collision with an inconsiderate driver.
A motorcyclist from Penang nearly became a victim of his rage after he was mere meters away from getting run over by an oncoming lorry after kicking a car out of anger.
Kicks car and nearly gets crushed by lorry
The motorcyclist’s actions were caught in a viral video posted by a Facebook user named Low Chin Hee yesterday (Apr 27).
In the video, the motorcyclist narrowly avoided a collision with the Honda Accord as the two vehicles approached a merging intersection.
In an attempt to overtake the car, the motorcyclist moved to the left side of the car but was blocked off and forced to come to a stop.
He then drove past the right side of the car and gave it a good kick with his left leg, presumably an act of retaliation for the near collision.
Unfortunately for him, this caused him to lose his balance and fall to the ground, where a lorry was seen making its way towards him. Fortunately, the lorry driver was able to brake in time to prevent a collision.
The driver of the Honda Accord is then seen pulling over to the left side of the road to offer assistance to the motorcyclist.
While the video doesn’t state the location, it’s believed to have taken place near a government health clinic in Bukit Minyak, Penang.
‘He deserved it’
The video has since garnered 123,000 views and 1,300 likes at the time of writing, where netizens were mostly on the side of the Honda Accord driver.
Many pointed out that the motorcyclist was the one at fault at the merged intersection for trying to overtake from the left side.
They also criticised him for losing his cool over getting blocked at the intersection and kicking the car out of anger.
