The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has announced a significant 50% reduction on traffic summonses for selected offenses.
This discount is part of the Madani Rakyat’s Program for the Central Zone, slated for February 23 to 25, 2023, at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex.
It’s an opportunity for motorists to settle their dues at a lower cost, but not all offences are eligible for this reduction.
The program specifically excludes a list of 10 compoundable offences from the discount offer.
These include accidents, court-related offences, violations involving heavy vehicles, dangerous overtaking, use of emergency lanes, non-compoundable offences (NC), disobeying red light signals, overtaking on double lines, exhaust modification offences, and summons under “OP Selamat”.

Payments for the reduced fines can only be made at the program venue, and terms and conditions apply.
This initiative aims to encourage the settlement of outstanding fines and promote adherence to traffic laws, enhancing road safety for all.
What is Program MADANI Rakyat
Program Madani Rakyat is a continuation of the One Year with the Madani Government Program held at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium last December.
This program is extended to state levels, divided by zones, to allow local communities to jointly understand, observe, and evaluate new policies and initiatives implemented by the Madani Government in an effort to improve the people’s living standards.
The Madani People’s Program for the Central Zone includes the states of Selangor, Perak, and the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
