You know the saying: cats don’t have owners, they have staff. And apparently, that includes hospital staff.
Case in point? An orange tabby cat that recently waltzed into a hospital ward like it owned the place, leaving everyone—including the internet—in stitches.
Oyen walks into M’sian hospital ward like it owns the place
In a viral TikTok video (@aiisyisyii), the unapologetically fluffy feline, now affectionately dubbed “Si Oyen,” confidently sashayed into a ward, plopped itself down on the floor, and locked eyes on a nearby bed.
The way it stared? As if calculating whether it could jump up and claim it as its throne. Oyen clearly had no chill—and we’re here for it.
But this wasn’t your average scrappy stray. Oyen looked like it just walked out of a pet spa, with its shiny fur and healthy glow.
Its polished appearance even led some to speculate it might be a regular at the hospital.
The video, reportedly recorded by a patient, has since exploded online, racking up 1.6 million views. And the internet, as always, delivered the humour:
One person joked, “Dr. Oyen: How are you feeling today? Ready to go home yet? I’m exhausted—day shifts, evening shifts, and night shifts!”
Another quipped, “🐈: I’ve got nine lives…want to borrow one?”
A third chimed in, “Oyen: Hmm, looks like this one’s doing just fine.”
