In a recent incident at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, a Malaysian man shared a harrowing experience when he discovered a dead cockroach in his dhal curry during his meal.

In the post, he shared that he found the unexpected ingredient in his curry and brought it to the attention of the restaurant staff, who, to his dismay, seemed ignorant about the matter.
Speaking exclusively with WeirdKaya, the OP revealed that he is a frequent customer of this restaurant.

It was only when he reached the dhal curry, saved for last, that he made the shocking discovery.
“Initially, I thought it was fried onion,” he said. However, his horror deepened when he pulled it out and realized it was a dead cockroach.
Disturbed by the finding, he confronted the restaurant staff, questioning whether this was a new addition to the recipe.
The staff promptly apologized, but with the owner absent, the diner sought clarification from the woman at the cash counter.
The woman then informed him that the dhal curry had been discarded after the cockroach discovery.
What shocked him even more was her nonchalant response, saying, “It’s okay, don’t worry. We have well-cooked the dhal curry, so nothing serious will happen.”
When the OP pressed further about potential medical issues, she casually assured him that the restaurant would cover all medical costs.
Further highlighting his concern, the OP said, “I’m okay since I have a good immune system, but what if those who are elderly or have a low immune system consume it?”
