The most common thing most Malaysians do is double park wherever they can. Although it can be annoying, some drivers who are in a hurry are actually considerate. They sometimes leave their phone number or refrain from pulling their handbrakes.
M’sians come together to move double parked Myvi
Recently, the king of the road has committed a particularly egregious act that united many people in frustration. The driver blocked another car and left a phone number but failed to answer despite numerous attempts to contact him.
A video showing several men helping the affected driver move the blocked car was posted on TikTok by @lutfiretnbp. The video quickly went viral, garnering over 157K views and more than 142 comments from frustrated netizens.
The Myvi driver arrived after the car was moved
Before the Myvi driver arrived, the affected driver repeatedly honked to signal his need to move the car. In addition, he continuously dialed the phone number left on the windshield in hopes of reaching the Myvi driver.
Despite his persistent efforts, there was no response, leaving him increasingly frustrated and unable to move his car.
Just as the crowd finished helping the affected driver move his car, the Myvi driver finally arrived. His timing was impeccable, albeit frustrating, as all the effort had already been made to clear the obstruction.
The onlookers, who had come together to assist, expressed their displeasure at the Myvi driver’s tardiness and lack of responsiveness.
Netizens were heated
Many commenters found humor in the situation and praised the crowd for their teamwork in assisting the affected driver. They highlighted the spirit and cooperation displayed by the bystanders, turning an otherwise frustrating incident into a moment of unity.
