Ever been blocked by a car parked so creatively you couldn’t help but admire their disregard for anyone else?
Well, a woman in Malaysia certainly did, and she left a note so sarcastically sweet, it deserves its own award.
The whole scenario came to light through a TikTok video posted by @alepdepay, capturing the aftermath of the incident in Bangsar Utama on the morning of February 15.
The footage showed a note left by the aggrieved woman on the windshield of the offending black Honda.
Repeated calls went unanswered
With an emergency that needed her at the hospital, she found herself stuck, literally.
The driver, kind enough to leave a phone number, turned into a ghost when called — 80 times, to be exact.
The note read with biting sarcasm, “Thank you so much. Your black Honda was the reason I couldn’t rush to the hospital. Big thanks for providing your number, though after 80 tries, no luck in getting through. Truly, you’re the best!”
This forced the woman to resort to ordering a Grab car to get to the hospital, in addition to paying an extra parking fee for the parked car.
This TikTok revelation quickly caught the attention of viewers, amassing over 1.5 million views, becoming a talking point for netizens who sympathized with the woman’s frustration and admired her use of sarcasm to address the situation.
Someone recounted, “I once called someone who double-parked me. They kept rejecting my calls. Only after I sent a message did they come down to move their car. Did they think I was a scammer?”
Another chimed in with a query: “Can we make a report and call for towing if someone double parks like this?”
