Bulky items such as mattresses and prams can prove to be a huge headache as they cannot be washed or dried the conventional way and must be done via a different method.
For this couple however, it didn’t stop them from trying to wash a mattress inside the dryer, a decision which has left many scratching their heads.
Clips shows couple fitting mattress into dryer
In a brief 25-second clip shared by user @Cool_Wannabe82 on X, it showed the couple trying their hand at fitting a mattress into the dryer at a laundromat.
The husband begins by rolling the mattress up into a “cinnamon roll” and is then helped by his wife in carrying it.
With the rolled up mattress in hand, the couple then pushes it into one of the dryers before the video is cut off abruptly.
However, it’s not stated which laundromat this bizarre behavior took place.
In the caption, the OP was left dumbfounded by the couple’s actions, writing, “I cannot brain this kind of people…might as well put yourselves into the dryer instead” before ending it with a facepalm emoji.
Netizens equally as puzzled
The clip, which has been viewed more than 800,000 times, saw netizens expressing confusion and disbelief over the couple’s attempt to fit the mattress into the dryer.

‘What is this? Did he leave his brain at home?’
A netizen noted how calm and unabashed the couple were in trying to squeeze the mattress into the dryer, a reaction that most would find abnormal.
‘The thing is, they aren’t ashamed if someone was recording them. If it were me, I’m done doing this and am going straight back home.’
