A Malaysian makeup artist, Erwan Shah renowned for his extraordinary beauty transformations, recently revealed his latest masterpiece. This time, he has masterfully transformed himself into well-known comedian, Jocelyn Chia.
Erwan Shah chronicled the transformation process on his TikTok page, offering a quick one-minute rundown of all the steps he took to assemble his look.
He started by applying an adhesive to his eyebrows to flatten them. On top of this adhesive, he sketched a preliminary eyebrow outline, followed by a layer of foundation on his skin and contouring specific facial areas.
Taking his commitment to the transformation further, Erwan even used a pencil to recreate the unique contours and indents of Chia’s face. He imitated Chia’s notable mole just below his nose using an Artline 70 marker pen.
The transformation concluded with Erwan donning a turtleneck and black wig, striking a pose as “Jocelyn”.
Runs a Nasi Kandar restaurant as full-time
Speaking to Weirdkaya, he stated that his motivation was primarily for the purpose of entertaining his considerable follower base.
In the age of social media, content creators often face criticism or opposition. However, this artist remains unscathed. He believes his content is well-received by his audience because of its entertaining nature and its showcase of his makeup skills.
Despite his immense talent and growing popularity, makeup is not his primary source of income as his full-time job is actually running a nasi kandar restaurant.
