If you’ve seen the series ‘You‘ on Netflix, you’ll understand just how unnerving and scary it is to be stalked. It’s something that no woman would ever want to go through in her life.
A TikTok video posted by an influencer named Tina has quickly gained attention, amassing over 1.8 million views in just a day. The video is deeply unsettling and troubling, as it captures an alarming incident of serious stalking and creepy behavior by a man in a mall’s carpark.
Man at parking lot approaches women
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Tina explained that the creepy encounter happened at around 7 pm when she and her friends were meeting up at Pavilion Damansara Heights for an event.
Tina recounted her experience, explaining that as soon as she entered the mall’s carpark, she noticed the man at a distance. Believing he might be heading into the mall as well, she didn’t overthink it and proceeded to park her car.
After the man silently observed her, he moved closer to her car and waited for an extended period awaiting her.
Meanwhile, Tina was hesitant about getting out of her car and mentioned that her friends, who had also arrived, coincidentally parked their car on the same level (B1) and right behind her vehicle.
Realizing that something was fishy, Tina decided to call her friends and informed them about the strange man who seemed to be approaching her. Tina asked her friends to come over since she didn’t feel courageous enough to confront the man on her own.
“The man was signaling at me to come out of the car. It weirded me out.” she told us.
Fortunately, her friends arrived and encouraged her to exit her car. The man, however, remained stationary, wearing an unsettling expression on his face.
Things started escalating quickly
He told me he knows me and wanted to talk to me. Moreover, he started to make up stories in an attempt to engage in conversation with me.
Despite Tina’s hesitation, the man was persistent and tried to convince her to keep talking. He repeatedly told Tina’s friends, “I just want to talk with her for a while”.
Recognizing that the situation was becoming increasingly uncomfortable and intrusive, Tina and her friends remained firm in their responses, repeatedly saying “no.”
Furthermore, he also asked if he could take a picture with them. Despite Tina and her friends refusing, he still silently took a picture of them.
The weird guy, also asked them if he can follow them to the event, the girls replied him by saying it’s a private event and that they were rushing.
That’s when they realized the situation was serious, and they quickly walked away. However, the man didn’t stop following them and continued to walk towards them.
She immediately contacted the security
Tina decided to approach the security, who was on duty, and that’s when the creepy guy decided to hide.
The girls, ran to the ladies toilet and decided to hide there for a while. After a while, the creep was soon gone.
Tina explained that it was truly a traumatizing event, and hopes nothing like this would ever happen to other women out there.
