However, there are individuals who exhibit remarkable calmness in any situation, even amidst the most heartbreaking and challenging circumstances.
In a recent incident that has garnered attention across social media platforms, a Malaysian woman’s composed reaction to her car being vandalised has left netizens astonished.
@surih4ti, the woman in question, took to TikTok to share the aftermath of an unsettling event where her car’s front door glass was shattered by an unidentified perpetrator. Despite the distressing situation, she remained remarkably calm throughout the ordeal.
The 35-second clip begins with the woman calmly expressing her thoughts, saying, “Honestly, what should I feel?” as the video reveals her front door glass in pieces.
She continues, “They took my android player. Ya Allah, what kind of test am I facing right now?”
The video concludes with her saying, “When you make a mess, can you please clean it up afterward?”
Speaking to WeirdKaya, the victim, known as Zahirah, disclosed that the incident occurred outside her apartment, between Sri Damansara and Kepong, as she was about to meet a friend near her car.
“I noticed from a distance that my car door was already open. However, I remained optimistic, thinking it might be a reflection from a nearby tree. Upon reaching my car, I discovered my car door wide open and shattered glass strewn everywhere.”
When asked about the items stolen, she mentioned the android player and some casing from inside the car.
Many netizens were taken aback by her composed demeanour, prompting inquiries into her emotional state amid the ordeal.
“Honestly, when I was in front of my car, I was somewhat shocked and speechless. But I surrendered. Perhaps having faced many trials in life alone has made me feel the need to be strong for whatever challenges lie ahead. Initially, I panicked, but then I made peace with fate.
This is just one of the trials for me during this fasting month. If I were to cry and lament, I wouldn’t be able to think about what to do next. So, I didn’t entertain the urge to cry. Instead, I focused on figuring out what to do next,” Zahirah explained.
Zahirah also offered some advice:
“My advice to everyone is: avoid parking in secluded and poorly lit areas, and refrain from leaving valuable items in your car as we never know when such incidents might occur. Lastly, make it a habit to check your car daily, especially for those living in apartments, flats, or parking in remote areas. If I hadn’t gone out that day, the incident might have gone unnoticed for 2 or 3 days.”
