A Malaysian woman was left stunned after returning from work to find two tyres missing from her car at a paid parking area near the LRT3 Bandar Bukit Tinggi station in Klang.
Sharing the incident on Threads, the woman posted a photo showing her white SUV resting on blocks, with two wheels visibly missing.
Just came back from work to find my car tyre stolen like this?? I parked at LRT3 Bukit Tinggi. I even paid for the parking this morning,” she wrote.
She also questioned whether anyone was monitoring the area and warned other motorists to be careful when parking there.
Two tyres and rims were stolen

Responding to netizens, the woman clarified that two tyres together with their rims on the right side of the vehicle had been taken.
There also appeared to have been an attempt to remove a tyre on the left side of the car, but the attempt was unsuccessful after a screw or nut was damaged.
She confirmed that the vehicle was using standard rims.
The woman said she returned to the parking area at around 7.15pm and discovered the condition of her car.
She later clarified that she had parked at the area behind a temple near Bandar Bukit Tinggi station.
When one netizen questioned whether the car door had also been forced open, she clarified that she had opened the door herself to place her belongings inside.
Rapid KL staff assisted her after the discovery
Speaking to WeirdKaya, the woman said she immediately approached Rapid KL staff after realising her tyres were missing.

According to her, the staff were helpful and took down her details before heading to the parking area to photograph the vehicle as evidence.
Rapid KL auxiliary police personnel also arrived at the scene and advised her to lodge a police report before sharing a copy with them.
As for who manages the parking area, the woman said she currently understands it to be under Jitu Sdn Bhd, possibly as a third party operator, although she has yet to receive further confirmation.
She had earlier shared that she subsequently went to a police station to lodge a report.
Full cost of damage still unknown
The woman told WeirdKaya that she is still waiting for a quotation and a full inspection of her vehicle.

Aside from the two missing tyres and rims, the screw or nut on the left side of the vehicle was also damaged.
As such, the total amount of losses has yet to be determined.
According to her, she had paid RM5 to park at the location that day.
She now hopes the party responsible for managing the parking facility will provide an explanation and take responsibility over the incident.
“I already paid RM5 for parking, so as a user, I would expect an appropriate level of security and monitoring,” she told WeirdKaya.
She also hopes there can be a resolution or compensation for the losses and damage to her vehicle, depending on the outcome of the investigation.
Netizens urge her to pursue the matter
The incident drew plenty of reactions online, with several netizens encouraging the woman to request CCTV footage and follow up with the parking operator.

Some also questioned the purpose of charging motorists parking fees if security and monitoring were insufficient.
Others pointed to previous court cases involving parking operators and argued that “park at your own risk” notices do not necessarily remove all responsibility from an operator.
However, whether a parking operator can be held liable would ultimately depend on the circumstances of the case.
For now, the incident has prompted the woman to warn other motorists who regularly leave their vehicles at the area for long periods to remain cautious.
