Who would have thought that a playground could be transformed into a hub of stories and imagination?
Recently, a remarkable initiative led by a Malaysian woman has garnered praise from netizens as she ingeniously set up a mini library for children right in the heart of a playground.
‘Mini Library 2.0’
Sharing her brainchild with a Facebook group called The Librarianologist, Aqilah gives a sneak peek into her ‘Mini Library’ creation.
“Last Thursday, my children and I hosted a mini library on a wagon at our neighborhood playground,” she excitedly shared in her post.
This wasn’t the first time they had organized such an event. She also highlighted the heartening fact that most of the children in the area thoroughly enjoyed diving into the world of books.
Read-aloud session
Aqilah didn’t stop at just providing books. Nope, she also treated the little ones to some awesome read-aloud sessions, making the whole experience even more fun and interactive.
When one curious user asked about the location of this mini library, Aqilah responded that it was held at a playground in Selangor.
With her awesome project, Aqilah hopes to inspire others to hop on the mini library train and spread the joy of reading far and wide.
