‘Might As Well Cook At Home!’ — M’sian Woman Slammed Over List Of Instructions For Fried Rice Order

Very specific.
For most food delivery platforms like Grab and Foodpanda, there’s usually a blank section for customers to fill in specific instructions they want to give to the restaurant they’re ordering from.

One woman decided to make full use of the said section for her order by giving a lengthy list of dos and don’ts — specifically for a plate of fried rice.

Below the fried rice order however, came a long description which turned out to be clear cut instructions to the restaurant on how the fried rice should be prepared.

Bizarrely enough, the description first starts off with the customer telling the restaurant to wash the wok first and use only fresh oil to make the fried rice.

Next up, the customer requested that her fried rice be void of vegetables, chicken, squid, prawns, egg, soy sauce, and belacan. Instead, it should be cooked with only garlic, onions, bird eye chilis, and a pinch of salt and sugar.

Towards the end of the order, the customer requested that the fried rice’s spice level be kicked up a notch before she ended it with an apology and said that she had just given birth and was currently in confinement.

‘Cook it yourself la!’

The post has since garnered 2,000 reactions at the time of writing, where netizens were astounded and slightly offended by the woman’s lengthy list of instructions.

‘Cooking it yourself will be way tastier.’

‘Even if I had high standards, the most is that I’d request it to be non-spicy. This woman’s standard is really higher than a plane flying in the sky.’

Surprisingly, one netizen expressed sympathy for the woman, saying that she probably had no one to cook for her and resorted to making such a lengthy request on the delivery platform.
