A woman recently took to social media to call for help in finding the owner of a lost cat she rescued from a highway in KL.
The post, which was shared to the Facebook group Missing Pets S.O.S. Malaysia, revealed that the cat was seen wandering along the LKSA highway.
Stopped by highway to save cat
In the post, it included a dashcam footage which documented the entire rescue process.
The dashcam footage began with the cat, visibly frightened and dazed, wandering along the highway as cars and motorcycles zoomed by.
When the dashcam vehicle came to a halt, a woman is seen running towards the cat and picking it up in order to prevent it from getting hit by oncoming vehicles.
The OP also shared several photos of the cat, where it appeared to be slightly scruffy from the encounter but thankfully did not suffer any injuries.
In the caption, she called upon netizens to help in spreading the word so that the cat’s owner would come forward and claim the feline soon.

In the comment section, a handful of netizens praised and thanked the OP for coming to the feline’s rescue.
Some also poked fun at the cat’s rather grumpy expression after getting saved, with one noting that it went from a “scared and sad” face to an angry one.
