According to The Straits Times, the OP discovered her electric door’s lock had malfunctioned and realizing she had left her master key inside her unit.
She explored various options to resolve the issue. While considering engaging a locksmith, she was informed that the only solution would involve breaking the door, incurring a cost of approximately RM800.
Additionally, she would need to replace her fire-rated door and the damaged anti-theft electronic lock, amounting to an additional RM3,000.
Unwilling to bear such expenses, the OP looked for an alternative solution and drew inspiration from a scene she observed of a lorry crane being used to cut trees near her home.
Seeing an opportunity, she decided to hire the crane, noting that the rental cost was a more affordable RM500.
In the video, it shows the OP’s unconventional entrance, waving gleefully to onlookers below as the crane lifted her to her balcony.
