A woman recently took to social media to vent her frustration over the lack of “quality” dating questions being asked after she experienced it for herself.
‘Do you cook?’
In a Threads post, the OP wrote that she deleted a dating app from her handphone yet again, no thanks to a simple question asked by a man she met on the platform: ‘Do you cook?’
While most would view this as an innocent question, the OP was so offended by the question that it caused her to wipe the dating app off from her phone.
She added:
Girl. Instant ick. I work from 9 to 6. I’m not a housewife. Weih why do such questions still exist in 2026?”

The OP’s gripe didn’t sit well with netizens, who bashed her for acting all spoilt and being triggered by such a simple question.
Another refuted her claim of being unable to cook due to her work schedule and showed photos of food he cooked after coming home from work.
He also bluntly added: “If you’re lazy, just say so.”
