That was until a Malaysian passenger, a regular passenger on Rapid KL buses, decided to take a stand. Touched by the outstanding service of a bus driver, she was moved to share his story on Facebook.
In a heartfelt gesture, the passenger an email to Rapid KL, commending the bus driver and urging the company to share this story as a means to inspire other bus drivers.
Good service of T807 bus driver
On the morning of May 19, she found herself on board the T807 en route to the MRT Surian Damansara station. She was immediately struck by the driver’s attitude and service to every passenger, which she described as nothing short of exemplary.
Throughout the journey, the driver exuded warmth and hospitality, greeting every passenger with a smile as they boarded, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere on the bus.
His keen attention to detail and friendly gestures throughout the journey didn’t go unnoticed by the kind passenger.
He would gently honk his horn at each stop, alerting waiting passengers of the bus’s arrival, and he made a point to announce each upcoming station loudly, ensuring all on board were prepared.
Affirmation motivates them
She said, “Drivers who serve the public with such enthusiasm deserve recognition. When their efforts are acknowledged, it fuels them to strive even harder.”
Impressed by the bus driver’s passionate commitment to his work, the passenger took it upon herself to share her positive feedback, hoping to shine a light on his dedication and exemplary conduct at work.
“I was fortunate to encounter such a passionate driver. His inspiring attitude deserves wider recognition,” she shared. “I hope his dedication and enthusiasm for his work receive the public acknowledgment they deserve.”
She believes that if Rapid KL consistently encourages and appreciates this kind of dedication, it will inevitably improve the overall quality of their service and increase customer satisfaction.
