Whenever we order a food item at a restaurant, we’d expect that it would somewhat resemble what was displayed on the menu.
A local woman was left sorely disappointed when what was advertised as meatballs turned out to be something entirely different, leaving her feeling deceived.
Got a different kind of balls
In an X post, the OP posted a photo of a menu at an undisclosed location, which showed a meatball dish being priced at RM16.

Thinking that it was the real deal, she proceeded to order the meatball dish.
However, as the next photo would show, the OP was instead served a plate of fishballs slathered with sauce, along with a serving of French fries.

Netizens were bewildered by the blatant display of false advertising and urged the OP to lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN).

Others joked that the meatballs had undergone an evolution to become yong tau foo.

One urged the OP to name drop the restaurant’s location so that it can prevent others from being scammed. However, the location remains elusive at the time of writing.

As Thanos once said, “Reality is often disappointing”, and this was definitely the case for the poor OP right here.
