Instead, it was the amount of money she was willing to pay for the position, which required the driver to work 8 hours a day, six days a week.

The woman mentioned that she is willing to pay only RM500 for a driver who would bring her mother around from Monday to Saturday. Additionally, she stated that the driver must also be on standby on Sundays.

The daily job responsibilities are quite consistent, with a few hours of free time for the driver during his “break time”.

The driver has free time until around 5 PM when he needs to pick up my mother again. Also, after that just have to bring her back to my house, it’s not that far.

“Standby on Sunday”

This schedule provides the driver with approximately 4 to 5 hours of break time each day, following a consistent routine. The job involves taking Angel’s mother to various places in the morning and then bringing her back home around noon.

Despite the routine nature of the job, the driver must also be on standby on Sundays in case Angel’s mother needs transportation.

Angel stated, “We’ll provide RM200 for fuel each month, and after six months, there will be a salary increment of RM500.”

In addition to these terms, Angel has specific expectations for the driver. She emphasized the need for the driver to be responsible, maintain good habits and temper, and have strong communication skills.

These qualities are essential to ensure a smooth and respectful working relationship, given the personal nature of the job.

The combination of a modest salary, fuel allowance, and a promised increment suggests that Angel is looking for someone who values reliability and responsibility over financial gain.
