A woman and her two daughters were found dead inside a house in Lenggeng, Negri Sembilan in an apparent suicide yesterday (Feb 19).
China Press reported that the victims were a 34-year-old woman and her two children aged three and six respectively.

In a statement by Nilai district police chief Superintendent Abdul Malik Hasim, he said the Lenggeng police station received a call from a man at 9.25pm last night, where he found the woman and her children hanging from a fan inside the house.
He added that a note, believed to be written by the victim, was found at the scene, where it revealed that the reason behind the tragedy was due to family problems.
Victim’s husband remanded
Abdul Malik said a team from the Nilai district Criminal Investigation Division (CID) nabbed the victim’s husband at 1am today (Feb 20) to aid investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
“A remand application was made at the Seremban magistrate’s Court this morning, and remand was granted for four days starting today until Feb 23.
“All three bodies were sent to the Forensic Department of Tuanku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ) in Seremban for a post-mortem examination,” he said.
Abdul Malik also urged the public not to make speculations on the case as it may jeopadise ongoing investigations.
