Dismissal on day one
The experience began on a promising note when she received a job offer for the role of marketing executive at the jewellery shop.
Both she and her prospective employer had seemingly agreed on a salary, and things seemed to be on track.
Captioning her video, she explained that she had attended an interview and subsequently received a phone call with a job offer.
However, her narrative takes a dramatic turn when, halfway through her first day, she was informed that she would undergo a one-week probationary period for performance evaluation—a detail allegedly not mentioned during the initial job offer.
The real shocker came in the evening when she was told her performance did not meet the company’s expectations, leading to her immediate dismissal.
If you didn’t plan on hiring me, you shouldn’t have offered me the job and should have rejected me during my interview, she exclaimed, her voice trembling with frustration.
As she continued to describe her ordeal, @narieana_ revealed the financial strain of her situation.
I’ve already paid for my child’s nursery fees so that I could come and work here. But now I’ve lost my job. Please do not hire and fire like this, as if that person is of no value, she pleaded, closing with a request for prayers for better opportunities.
