We all probably have had our shares of forgetting to put items back to where it belongs but failing to put back the pump nozzle at the petrol station is probably not one on the list.
A female driver became the butt of online jokes and astonishment after a viral clip showed her causing damage to a fuel pump after she reportedly forgot to put back the nozzle and drove off.

In a Facebook video posted by a netizen named Ka Ren on Saturday (Feb 3), it showed a damaged fuel pump at a Petronas petrol station.
From the clip, it can be seen that the cord of the RON95 pump nozzle was entirely pulled off from the fuel pump and the nozzle was still placed firmly inside the car’s fuel hole.
A clearly frustrated Petronas staff member was also seen gesturing wildly and talking to the female driver responsible for the mess, although their conversation cannot be heard in the clip.
While it’s not stated in the video caption, it’s believed that the woman had forgotten to put back the pump nozzle and drove off, causing it to be completely ripped off from the fuel pump.
It’s also believed that the incident took place at Bukit Indah in Johor.
‘But how??’
In the comment section, netizens were baffled over how the woman got herself in such a predicament and could only react with facepalms.
One netizen said that the woman will be charged a hefty fee for damaging the petrol station’s fuel pump.
Another did some online sleuthing and revealed that the car owner had four outstanding traffic summons. #kantoi
