M’sian Woman Forces Man Out Who ‘Choped’ Parking Spot With His Body

She told WeirdKaya that it took her more than 1.5 hours to find the spot.
Finding a parking space at public spaces can be a pain at times, but nothing is more annoying than people who use their bodies to ‘chope’ the spot for themselves.

While many would probably give up on trying and look elsewhere, a woman somehow managed to successfully force one such individual to relinquish the spot in an ingenious manner.

Met man hogging parking spot

In a 1-minute video shared by @orphelia.my on TikTok, it showed her looking for a parking spot in Tasik Titiwangsa and finally finding one after numerous rounds.

To her dismay, she saw that the empty parking spot was ‘occupied’ by a man who had booked it using his own body.

When the woman and her friend confronted the man over his actions, he told them that he too had been looking for a parking spot and even gestured to them to go elsewhere.

However, the woman refused to be bullied into giving up the parking spot and continued to chide the man for his selfishness.

After a minute of back and forth, the man walked away from the parking spot and moved towards the side of the woman’s car, presumably to continue the argument.

Sensing an opportunity, the woman immediately veered her car right into the parking spot, forcing the man to step aside and let her park her vehicle.

Took her more than 1.5 hours to find parking

Speaking to WeirdKaya, the woman said she initially parked her car near a food court and realised that she had parked at a non-parking area when she returned from her meal.

She added that she sat in her car for five minutes and went to look for parking elsewhere when she saw police officers turning up at the scene and issuing fines.

When asked how long it took her to finally find the parking spot, the woman said it took her more than 1.5 hours as Tasik Titiwangsa could get crowded quite quickly, especially during the weekends.

“As for the man who ‘choped’ the parking spot, I refrained from taking additional action against him as I did not cause any further problems following our brief conversation,” she said.

Even traffic officers have ‘choped’ parking spots in the past, with one receiving a summon for it:
