Arguments or sharp disagreements among couples is quite common as there will be moments where even the strongest of relationships will go through rocky times. But would you put your life in danger just to prove your point?
Apparently, one woman thought it was the best way to win an argument with her partner as she tried to get herself hit by a car…only for it to end in an awkward manner.
M’sian woman fakes getting hit by a car
In an 11-second video shared on Facebook, it showed a couple having an argument in front of a KK Mart, where the man was seen trying to hold the woman down.
However, she managed to break free and dashed off the middle of the road with her arms spread out wide, as if to ‘invite’ an oncoming car to hit her while her partner scratches his head in bewilderment.
Fortunately, a car driver managed to see the woman heading towards his vehicle and slowed down in time, causing the woman to lightly fling her body on top of the bonnet as though she had been hit.
However, she quickly realised that her attempt at faking an accident had failed and quickly walked away, with her partner following her from behind.
The video has since sparked a lively discussion among netizens, where they were amused by the woman’s dangerous antics just to get back at her partner.
“Flabbergasted. The car driver was absolutely innocent.’
‘If you want to fight do it at home. Don’t do it on the road.’
Woman arrested by police
China Press reported that the woman involved in the fake car accident was later arrested by police.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the 32-year-old woman was nabbed following an investigation and was remanded for four days until yesterday (July 31).
However, he added that police applied for another remand order which will end on August 3. The case is currently being probed under Section 427 of the Penal Code for causing mischief.
