Many Malaysians currently use RapidKL services on a daily basis to travel, and to ensure a smooth commute. However, there are times where things do go south.
A young woman had a brief moment of panic after she realised she was trapped inside the Bukit Bintang MRT Station as all of the exit doors were locked shut.

The terrifying incident was recorded and uploaded to the woman’s TikTok account @mickaelaelaine, where she showed viewers her sheer horror upon discovering she was effectively locked inside the MRT station.
According to the in-text caption, Mikeyla wrote she had taken the last train and arrived at the Bukit Bintang MRT station, where she was greeted with a locked exit door at Gate E, leaving her stranded.
She then panned the camera around the empty MRT station while covering her mouth with one hand in shock as she tried to absorb what was going on.
Thankfully, Mikeyla revealed in the comment section that she shouted for help and was assisted by another person who told her to use the lift, allowing her to leave the station safely.
We spoke to Mikeyla
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Mikeyla explained that the incident happened around 12am, and that she happened to be in the last train.
It was my first time using the MRT this late, and I thought I could exit as usual, but apparently, it was closed when I went up.
Mikeyla also added that she indeed saw the elevator but was too scared that it might stop midway, so she refused to use it.
I decided to go to the ticket counter, but no one was there. I assumed they were doing a final check around the area. Luckily, after I shouted for a few minutes, a person came to my aid.

The clip has since garnered more than 40,000 views and 2,000 likes at the time of writing, where netizens were spooked to see Mikeyla getting stuck all alone inside the MRT station.
‘New fear unlocked.’
‘I would just cry on the spot honestly.’
A netizen advised those who find themselves in the same situation to head for the fire exit.
