[Teacher Zulhilmi ](https://www.tiktok.com/@cekguzul/video/7366536240935570696)shared the fun photo session on TikTok, where he prepared a large cardboard box, turning it into a makeshift photo booth complete with a lighting setup to mimic a professional studio. ![](https://cdn.weirdkaya.com/media/class-portraits-box.png)Screenshot from TikTok [@cekguzul](https://www.tiktok.com/@cekguzul) Later, he used Microsoft Word to edit the photos before proudly displaying the finished class portrait on the classroom's back wall. ![](https://cdn.weirdkaya.com/media/class-portraits.png)Screenshot from TikTok [@cekguzul](https://www.tiktok.com/@cekguzul) The project was not just about taking photos; it was also a chance to beautify the classroom. **"We're also planning to spruce up the curtains and walls of our classroom. We're still setting up a schedule for it," **the teacher said, describing the whole experience as enjoyable, especially the collaborative aspect of decorating the classroom with his students. "Actually, throughout my experience as a class teacher, I've always used pictures of my students as classroom decorations," he told WeirdKaya. "Previously, I had done a 'macho' version with students posing with crossed arms, and another with them wearing sunglasses, which when pasted on the classroom's softboard, made them look like high-class secret agents," said the teacher. > **"This year, for my new class, I wanted to do something different. Inspired by the excitement of online shopping, where you can't wait to unbox what feels like a gift to yourself, I thought of capturing that same thrill." ** The inventive approach won heaps of praise online, with many netizens applauding Zulhilmi's creativity and noting how it increased student engagement and happiness. > [@cekguzul](https://www.tiktok.com/@cekguzul?refer=embed) kali ni cikgu & anak2 duk dalam kotak 🙈😝 [#deco](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/deco?refer=embed) [#classroom](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/classroom?refer=embed) [#classdeco](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/classdeco?refer=embed) [#cute](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/cute?refer=embed) [#pics](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/pics?refer=embed) [#theme](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/theme?refer=embed) [#box](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/box?refer=embed) [#inbox](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/inbox?refer=embed) [#unbox](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/unbox?refer=embed) [#boxing](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/boxing?refer=embed) [#boxes](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/boxes?refer=embed) [#boss](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/boss?refer=embed) [#fun](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/fun?refer=embed) [#idea](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/idea?refer=embed) [#the](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/the?refer=embed) [#kids](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/kids?refer=embed) [#photo](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/photo?refer=embed) [#photoshoot](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/photoshoot?refer=embed) [#soft](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/soft?refer=embed) [#softboard](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/softboard?refer=embed) [#kid](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/kid?refer=embed) [#edu](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/edu?refer=embed) [#tiktokedu](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/tiktokedu?refer=embed) [#edutiktok](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/edutiktok?refer=embed) [#kids](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/kids?refer=embed) [#kidz](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/kidz?refer=embed) [#my](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/my?refer=embed) [#classroom](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/classroom?refer=embed) [#decotiktok](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/decotiktok?refer=embed) [#tiktokdeco](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/tiktokdeco?refer=embed) [#male](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/male?refer=embed) [#guy](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/guy?refer=embed) [#hands](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/hands?refer=embed) [#touch](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/touch?refer=embed) [#trend](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/trend?refer=embed) [#teacher](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/teacher?refer=embed) [#teachersoftiktok](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/teachersoftiktok?refer=embed) [#buy](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/buy?refer=embed) [#simple](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/simple?refer=embed) [#authentic](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/authentic?refer=embed) [#fyp](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/fyp?refer=embed) [#fypp](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/fypp?refer=embed) [#best](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/best?refer=embed) [#play](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/play?refer=embed) [#decoration](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/decoration?refer=embed) [#ikea](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/ikea?refer=embed) [#ideas](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/ideas?refer=embed) [#teach](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/teach?refer=embed) [#learnontiktok](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/learnontiktok?refer=embed) [#learn](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/learn?refer=embed) [#ganu](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/ganu?refer=embed) [#teganukite](https://www.tiktok.com/tag/teganukite?refer=embed) [♬ Dari planet lain - Sal Priadi](https://www.tiktok.com/music/Dari-planet-lain-7333485762431191041?refer=embed) [READ ALSO:](https://weirdkaya.com/msian-teacher-uses-his-own-allowance-to-upgrade-classroom-with-hipster-cafe-vibes/) https://weirdkaya.com/msian-teacher-uses-his-own-allowance-to-upgrade-classroom-with-hipster-cafe-vibes/ --- [![WeirdKaya is on Instagram!](https://weirdkaya.com/wp-content/uploads/ig-article-cta.png)](https://www.instagram.com/weirdkaya/)For more stories like this, follow WeirdKaya on Facebook and Instagram! ---
