Aside from being known as the founder and CEO of the low-cost airline AirAsia, Tony Fernandes is also known for his less-than-savorable antics, such as having a massage while half-naked during a company meeting.
Recently, he appeared on social media again thankfully for the right reasons, where a passenger recounted his surprise to see the CEO onboard the same flight as him and serving passengers.
Tony Fernandes seen serving passengers
In a heartwarming Facebook post by 麦子厨房夫妻档 Maizi Kitchen, he shared about how he was astonished to see the CEO personally attending to passengers during his flight back home from Hokkaido, Japan.
He also wrote that he noticed the air stewardesses and cabin crew looked extra “sharp” in their attire as well.
“I later found out that his wife and kids were actually the VVIP that took the same plane as we did to Hokkaido but I didn’t recognise them at all.
“When we returned home from Hokkaido, only then did we see him in person, where he was serving food and beverages to passengers,” he wrote.
The OP even asked the air stewardesses whether they felt more pressured when working alongside Tony, to which they replied, “Of course it’s stressful!”
‘P.S. I’m looking thinner’
Tony later took to his Instagram account to share about the same incident as well, where he posted a photo of himself holding a tray of food.
Decided to help out AirAsia X crew and do meal service. Much harder on the wide body. Full respect to me X all stars. P.S. I’m looking thinner.
