A Malaysian woman was left shaken after encountering a suspicious individual allegedly posing as a woman inside a women-only coach on the MRT Putrajaya Line.
The incident, which has since gone viral, was shared on Threads, where a woman uploaded a video detailing the unsettling experience.
Spotted at Titiwangsa station
According to her post, the incident took place on Apr 30 at around 3.50pm, shortly after she boarded the women-only coach at Titiwangsa MRT Station.
She claimed to have noticed a passenger who “felt off”, describing the individual as wearing a wig, a yellow sleeveless top, and shorts.

I experienced something very uncomfortable in the MRT women’s coach just now. After boarding, I noticed a passenger who didn’t seem right.”
Behaviour raised concerns
Beyond the person’s appearance, the woman said it was the individual’s behaviour that made her uneasy.
She alleged that the individual kept staring at other female passengers in the coach.
“His outfit and appearance were already strange, but what made it worse was his behaviour. He kept staring at women non-stop,” she said.

The woman added that she tried to signal for the individual to move to another coach, but he allegedly ignored her.
Left at next station
She also claimed she suspected that the individual was secretly recording her, prompting her to confront him directly.
I went up to him and asked whether he was male or female,” she said.

Following the confrontation, the individual reportedly exited the train at Raja Uda MRT Station.
The woman later lodged a report with the relevant authorities regarding the incident.
