M’sian Singer Forced To Pay RM5.5K After Child Spills Nail Polish On Levi’s Clothing

Pricey mistake.
Most children are used to having their parents bail them out of sticky situations whenever they mess up or cause any problems.

However, a child of a Malaysian singer cost the father an astounding RM5,593 after nail polish was spilt on several Levi’s clothing. Ouch.

Spilt nail polish on Levi’s clothing

According to an Instagram video by singer Shah Indrawan, better known as Tomok, he had gone to The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur to break fast and went to a Levi’s outlet to shop around at around 9.30pm.

Unfortunately, one of his children had a case of butterfingers and spilt nail polish on not one, but eight articles of clothing.

Had to pay RM5,593 in total

In the clip, Tomok went on to show which clothing were stained by the nail polish and how much it cost.

The first item were four pairs of jeans, where each was sold at a retail price of RM1,299.

Next up were two shirts which cost RM499 each and a top priced at RM899. When the total cost was calculated, it amounted to a staggering RM7,093.

However, the store manager was kind enough to give Tomok a discount, where he was required to pay RM5,593.70 for the damage.

Despite the discount, Tomok was clearly distressed by the cost but said that he was willing to pay for his child’s mistake as the clothes would go to waste.

He also said that he would be reselling the clothes at a discounted price as he couldn’t fit into it and asked viewers for help, which he did in a subsequent video.

Fans offer sympathy

In the comment section, netizens offered words of support for Tomok and wished him well with the reselling of the stained clothing.

There were also many who expressed interest in purchasing the clothing and told Tomok to sell it to them.

Thanks to this widespread support, Tomok managed to sell out all of the clothing within an hour.

Let’s hope his child learns a lesson from this incident and avoid spilling liquids on clothing anymore!
