A security guard could hardly believe his eyes and ears after he discovered that he had won RM13.4 million thanks to a Toto 4D Jackpot 1 game he took part back on March 2.

NST reported that the unnamed 53-year-old man, who hailed from Sabah, had worked as a security guard for the past 20 years.
The man told STM Lottery Sdn Bhd that he submitted two numbers — 1203 and 1227, which was a combination of his birth date and car registration number.
I bought these two numbers which only cost me RM2.60 (including Sabah’s sales tax of RM0.60) to be rich.
“I thought I might still continue to work until my retirement, but after looking at the interest alone if I deposit the winnings, I will no longer need to work,” he said.
Wants to use winnings to develop village
The man said his wife couldn’t stop crying upon hearing he had become a millionaire and added that he now can fulfil his wish of building a house big enough to accommodate his family and siblings.
“Being an indigenous Sabahan, I can now make a difference for my people, I want to go back and develop my village,” he said.
Thanks to the winning numbers, the man walked away with RM13,403,860.25 in winnings out of the total jackpot of RM14,962,901.80.
As for the remaining amount, it was shared out between two winners from Sabah and Kuala Lumpur respectively.
