When it comes to durians, you’re either a die-hard fan or you can’t stand the pungent aroma of the king of fruits. But one Malaysian woman has taken her love-hate relationship with durians to a whole new level.
In a viral TikTok video, Nani Roslan shared her creative solution to enjoying durians without enduring the strong smell in her car.
Instead of transporting the durians inside her vehicle, Nani placed several boxes of durian pulp right on the bonnet of her car, securing them on the windscreen.
Her video, with a caption: POV: When you love durian but you can’t stand the smell” went viral with over 123k views.
Remarkably, despite the unusual placement, the boxes of durian managed to stay in place for the entire 34-second clip.

The TikTok video quickly caught the attention of netizens, who flooded the comments with mixed reactions.
While many were amused by Nani’s antics, others expressed concern that the durians might fall off or be snatched by passersby when the car stopped.
