I felt really bad for the child because he looked so uncared for. A man told me he was the boy’s mother’s friend and gave the boy to me so we could send him to the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia (JKM) while I was working.

Siti Sarah, who has served at the station for six years, went above and beyond by purchasing new clothes and diapers for the child, who is believed to be autistic.

Her maternal instincts kicked in as she cleaned, fed, and cared for him, likening his situation to that of her own children at home.

After her act of kindness was shared on Facebook, it quickly generated 3,800 likes, 267 comments, and 70 shares, earning praise from netizens.

Siti Sarah kept in touch with the man who brought the child in, ensuring he was safely handed over to the Department of Social Welfare (JKM).

Reflecting on her service, Siti Sarah recounted a similar experience of caring for two foreign children detained with their mother, emphasizing the police’s role in providing care beyond their duty.
