Road bullying often comes in the form of physical violence, where the perpetrator engages in actions such as tailgating and verbal threats, which compromises the safety of other road users.
A woman has turned to the public for help after her own father was brutally assaulted by a road bully in Taman Putra Prima, Puchong, which left him badly bruised and bloodied.

Taking to Instagram to bring the issue to light, Saraswathy Sivapalan gave further details of the incident, such as the date, time, and location of the attack.
On January 30, 2024, at 9am at Jalan PP 2/5, Taman Putra Prima, my dad, who is 74 years old, was assaulted by a road bully in broad daylight. We have filed a police report, but the perpetrator has since gone into hiding.
“The injuries sustained by my dad has caused him to have three broken bones, swelling and mouth restructure. He would need to undergo surgery due to this assault.
“Please help me in getting justice for my dad. This is to prevent future happenings to others like what has happened to my father, this will serve as a deterrent,” she wrote.
‘He wasn’t satisfied’
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Saraswathy said her father was using Waze while driving and forgot to turn on his signal light before making a turn at a junction.
In response, the road bully, who was behind him, began honking incessantly at him.
“In an attempt to defuse the situation, my father exited his vehicle to offer an apology. However, rather than accept the apology, the road bully physically assaulted him.
“Several bystanders intervened and tried to stop the road bully but it only seemed to fuel his anger further, where he pursued my father with the intention of continuing the assault,” she said.
Saraswathy also revealed details of the road bully, where his name is Mohammad Zakaria Bin Mohd Razali and was last seen driving a Perodua Axia with the license plate QAA 1303N.
She also called upon those who have further information or video evidence of the assault to call her at 011-2121 4397 or contact the nearest police station.
We hope the police will catch the road bully soon and bring him to justice!
