The latest episode of “Why Is This So Expensive?” comes courtesy of TikTok user Airiey (@airieysayuti20), who shared his hilarious yet painful experience at Dua Lipa’s concert at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil.

In his now-viral video, Airiey revealed that he forked out RM5 for just two measly nuggets, while his friend got six wedges for the same price.
Yes, you read that right—RM2.50 per nugget. Honestly, at this rate, we’re wondering if the nuggets were blessed by Dua Lipa herself.
But hunger waits for no one, especially during a concert, and Airiey decided to bite the bullet (or the nugget) to avoid fainting halfway through Dua Lipa’s set.
With no outside food or drinks allowed, his options were as limited as his bank account post-nugget purchase.
Despite the daylight robbery, the crowd took it in stride. “It’s Dua Lipa’s concert, after all. International artist, international nugget prices,” Airiey quipped, turning his pain into comedy.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Airiey shared that the nuggets were nothing special. “They were just biasa saja (ordinary),” he said, adding that sauces were available, but he skipped them because he doesn’t eat sauce.
Explaining why they had to buy snacks inside the venue, Airiey said, “My friend came late to the concert, and he was starving. We didn’t have time to buy food outside, and since we couldn’t bring it in anyway, we had to grab something quick.”
Surprisingly, there was no queue at the food stall. “There was just one customer when we got there, probably because the concert was about to start,” he added.
As for his friend’s reaction after buying the wedges? “He just laughed,” said Airiey.
‘Was it enough, bro? ‘
But TikTok users were quick to share their outrage (and jokes).
One user joked, “You should’ve asked the seller, ‘Sis, when you set this price, did you leave your brain at home?’”
Another remarked, “They used the cheapest nuggets too. Hahaha.”
