If you came across a person who didn’t have enough money to fill up petrol for their vehicle, would you offer to pay on their behalf without hesitation?
This was one man did after he came across another man at a petrol station who couldn’t refuel his car due to insufficient funds and a malfunctioned debit card.
M’sian pays petrol bill for man who only had RM3
Taking to Facebook to share the incident, Abu Hurairah Roslan wrote that he was returning from work and stopped by the petrol station to refuel after passing by the Jalan Duta toll.

When he went to the payment counter, Roslan overheard a conversation between another man and a petrol station staff and saw that the man had an anxious look on his face.
He was trying to top up using his debit card but after several attempts, it failed. Left with no choice, he handed the RM3 he had on hand to the staff to refuel his car.
“I felt sorry for him and immediately canceled my transaction before running up to him and asked whether he needed help,” he wrote.
During his brief conversation with the man, Roslan realised that the latter was rushing to return to Tanjung Malim due to an emergency but didn’t have enough money to refuel as his salary hadn’t been banked in.

Although the man tried to reject Roslan’s offer to pay for his petrol bill, Roslan wouldn’t take no for an answer and proceeded to fill the man’s car with fuel before paying the bill with his own debit card.
Deeply touched by Roslan’s act, the man began tearing up and thanked him profusely while promising to pay him back when his salary came.
I patted him on the back and said, ‘Relax, bro. I’m alright with it. In my religion, we are taught to help people.
“I was happy to see smile and be calm again. We even exchanged phone numbers,” he wrote towards the end of the post.
