A video showing a man confronting another individual at an R&R eating area has gone viral, with many Malaysians praising the way he handled the situation.
According to the post, the incident allegedly took place at the R&R Simpang Pulai southbound eating area, where an individual was believed to have brought a dog into a halal dining section.
Told the diner to respect the halal area
In the video, a bald man in a black sleeveless shirt could be seen speaking to another man who was seated at a table.
The man was heard telling him that the area was a halal zone and that bringing a dog, as well as eating non halal food there, was not appropriate.
“Please be considerate. You are disturbing Muslims who are eating. Please respect them,” he added.
Said he loves dogs too, but reminded diner to respect
What caught many netizens’ attention was how the man made it clear that he was not speaking out because he disliked dogs.
According to the post, he told the diner that he was also Chinese and a dog lover, but stressed that Malaysians should understand the sensitivity of bringing dogs into halal areas.
“I also like dogs. You are Malaysian, right? So you should know dogs cannot be brought into a halal area,” he said.
He also added that he was not trying to interfere in other people’s business, but felt that the situation required some basic respect.

Netizens praised him for the way he tegur
The video has since received plenty of reactions online, with many Malaysians saying the man handled the matter firmly without being rude.
Some praised him for being direct but still respectful, while others said this was a good example of Malaysians understanding each other’s sensitivities.
One netizen described him as a “true Malaysian” for knowing and respecting the rules, while another joked that the man deserved a meal treat for speaking up.
Some also joked about his appearance, saying he looked like The Rock and Vin Diesel, with comments thanking “The Rock” for stepping in and reminding others to respect the rules.
