Taking an e-hailing ride is probably one of the most convenient way of getting to places, especially when one doesn’t have a car to do so.
While such rides are generally safe, there are moments where things can go wrong or in some cases, dangerous, where it may endanger the passenger’s safety.
M’sian Myvi driver stops in the middle of the road, turns aggressive
In a 59-second TikTok video posted by @hotzilla.my, she shared how an e-hailing ride turned into a harrowing incident which nearly escalated into a physical fight.
In the video, she was seen taking a ride back home when a white Myvi in front of them suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.
Thankfully, the e-hailing driver managed to slam the brakes on time, thus averting a head-on collision. He also honked at the Myvi driver for his dangerous act.
Angered by the honking, the Myvi driver then stepped out of the vehicle and stormed towards the e-hailing driver while yelling at him to open the car door.
Sensing that trouble was brewing, the e-hailing driver instructed the OP to start filming the Myvi driver, which she quickly did so to collect evidence of the Myvi driver’s aggression.
Not only did the Myvi driver direct his rage towards the e-hailing driver, but he also did the same to another driver who slowed down to witness the conflict by gesturing at him aggressively to go away.

The video swiftly amassed over 530k views and netizens were relieved that the OP and the e-hailing driver wasn’t hurt by the Myvi driver.
‘Alhamdulillah there wasn’t anything serious. Most importantly, you and the uncle are safe. It’s so dangerous!’
‘The uncle is so calm, may God protect him.’
Some also speculated that the Myvi driver could have been drunk at the time of the altercation and didn’t look like a local.
