Thorough financial planning is super, super important.

  • RM9,000 from two different banks
  • RM230,000 for a Malaysian Public Sector Housing Finance debt, and;

The total debt accumulated is nearly half a million ringgit, a considerable amount given his modest monthly income.

Many netizens emphasised the importance of understanding one’s financial limits and making informed decisions, cautioning against taking on debts that exceed one’s means.

One commented: “Just ‘downgrade’ your lifestyle. Get rid of what’s not necessarily important. It’s ok to live in modest rather than stuck with debts.”
