In recent weeks, there has been extensive coverage regarding a nasi kandar restaurant in Penang that’s making headlines for customers making orders worth hundreds of Ringgit.
This time around however, a man decided to not only break the previous record set by a customer just last week, but also shared the food with 30 others completely for free!

30 customers get free food with RM450 nasi kandar order
In a Facebook post shared by Nasi Kandar Sulaiman on Monday (Sept 23), it wrote that a man walked into the restaurant and ordered 30 plates of nasi kandar worth RM450 in total.
However, instead of gorging himself on all 30 plates like so many others have done with their astronomical order, the man chose to instead give it away for free to customers who were also at the restaurant.
As a result, they were able to tuck into a hearty nasi kandar meal consisting of rice, fried chicken, and squid thanks to the man’s generosity.

On a separate note, the man’s RM450 order is now officially the new record, breaking the RM400 record set last Friday (Sept 20).
Man praised for his generosity
The man’s heartwarming gestures was lauded by netizens, who were touched to see him setting a new record by showing kindness to others.
‘Alhamdulilah. This is the best example by far.’

‘It is better to share with others than eating everything by yourself.’

‘This is how it should be done. The best record set ever.’
