Disagreements between couples isn’t something new, but there are times where couples go their separate ways for the most absurd reasons.
A woman was left devastated after her husband expressed his desire to divorce her as he felt she had become lazy and didn’t want to work, despite the fact that she left her job at his request.

As per a report by mStar, the story was first shared on TikTok by a netizen, who was seeking for advice on the woman’s behalf.
According to the netizen, the woman, who is currently jobless, is facing the prospect of being divorced from her husband as he found her to be a big burden.
The husband wants to divorce his wife, claiming she’s lazy and doesn’t work. They have five children and have been married for 10 years. He also gives only RM350 a month for household expenses.
“However, he was the one who actually told her to resign from her job and she suspects that he’s simply using her unemployment as an excuse to get rid of her,” said the netizen.
Found himself another woman
To further add salt to the wound, the woman’s husband reportedly found himself another partner and even got the blessing of his mother for the relationship.
“The woman’s mother-in-law openly supports her son’s actions as she hopes to find a daughter-in-law who has a career. Both of them are alike in wanting a wealthy daughter-in-law.
“They don’t take the wife’s sacrifices into consideration, where she gave birth to five children and quit her job to save money,” lamented the netizen.
The story drew much sympathy from netizens, some of whom shared their own experiences.
One shared that she was blamed by her mother-in-law for her husband’s infidelity, saying that her pregnancy and impatience had caused it.
Another said that her husband’s family members talked him into divorcing her, leading him to blame her for the breakdown of their marriage.
