After graduating from college or university, we are expected to find a job to earn money in order to sustain ourselves and not rely on our family anymore.
For this woman however, she refused to do any of these things and instead chose to ‘suck’ her own family members dry due to her unwillingness to work.
32yo M’sian woman refuses to get a job, relies on older brother
According to mStar, a man took to the social platform X (formerly Twitter) to rant about his younger sister’s lack of responsibility when it came to supporting herself financially.
My younger sister is 32. She doesn’t work because she says women are not obligated to work. We’re orphans so she’s my responsibility.
“I became the head of the family after both our parents passed away and I’ve been forced to bear the burden of supporting my siblings ever since,” he wrote.
To make matters worse, the man said that he’s currently struggling to keep the family afloat financially due to his low income.
“The four of us siblings live together in the same house. I pay for rent and food. But I get upset when my sister splurges on things and then sends me the receipts to claim the money back.
“As the eldest brother, I’m struggling with my low salary. I can’t afford to pay. She doesn’t even ask before spending,” he lamented.
The man then ended the post by asking whether he should continue to leave his sister to her own devices, adding that she insisted he do so as he was the eldest brother.
‘Don’t pamper her anymore!’
Needless to say, netizens were enraged by the woman’s laziness and slammed her in the comments.
Some called the man to marry his sister off or send her to an orphanage if she refused to teach her a lesson.
They also suggested that he forcefully kick her out of the house so that she would finally be made to fend for herself.
