Usually, when a building or infrastructure isn’t used anymore, authorities either take it down or leave it abandoned. But, in a surprising twist, one person did something different.
Recently, a man was seen casually jogging on an abandoned monorail track in Melaka. The track looked quite high and dangerous, leaving people wondering who could even think of doing such an act.

Shared by a Facebook page, Peter Tong Fans Page, this video quickly got everyone’s attention, witnessing the unbelievable act of the bold man.
In that 17-seconds video, a man clad in black sportswear and a headband effortlessly jogs along, as if he’s walking on the ground.
Even though he was calmly jogging, a small mistake might cause him to slip and fall, putting his life at risk.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the monorail project was halted due to malfunctions back in 2015.
Initially opened in 2010, the monorail encountered technical issues shortly after, leading to suspension.

In 2013, the project’s second phase commenced, only to be disrupted again in April 2015 due to malfunctions. Operations remained halted until November 2017.
Netizens were stunned and amused
Some netizens jokingly commented that finally someone has made use of that abandoned monorail track.
“I mean, the monorail track is finally being used for something.”

“He helped to utilise the ‘unused’ track.”

“At least he utilised the infrastructure.”
