With the monsoon season currently in full swing, many have found their home and property underwater as floodwaters rush in incessantly.
A man in Bangi, Selangor found not only his house filled with muddy floodwater but also his BMW car as well, forcing him to “drain” it using a pail.

In a TikTok video posted by Muhammad Azrul, he showed viewers the severity of the flooding and the devastation it left behind.
Following a downpour last Sunday (Nov 5), his entire home was submerged in the floodwater, leading him to quip that it has caused a pool to appear in his bedroom.
When he walked to the front porch of the house, a more painful sight was waiting for him — his black BMW 6 Series was also submerged in the floodwater. Ouch.
As Azrul walked around his home to survey the damage caused, he found a neighbour wading through the murky water which was quickly rising to her knees.
In another video, Azrul is seen attending to his BMW car which had its alarm blaring away after the floodwater subsided.
In fact, the flooding was so bad that he had to use a pail to scoop out the floodwater which had seeped into his car and soaked the gas pedal and brake area.
In the caption, he joked that he probably had to soak his car in rice to dry it out and enable it to work again.
Repair costs estimated to be around RM5k to RM10k
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Azrul said the flooding had occurred at his home located in Kg Rinching Hilir, Bangi Lama.
He added that he has sent the BMW car for repairs at a workshop, where several sensors and parts are expected to be replaced.
It’s still being fixed for now and repair costs are estimated to be around RM5,000 to RM10,000.
“This has been the worst case of flooding to happen so far in Bangi and I hope this will not occur again in the future,” he said.
