Fathers will do anything to ensure that their children are not harmed in any way, even if it meant putting their lives on the line to do so.
A father sacrificed his life in order to let his daughter survive an oncoming crash by shoving her to the roadside before he crashed into a lorry, resulting in his death.

According to China Press, the tragic incident took place on Wednesday (Mar 20) in Gombak.
The driver of the lorry which was involved in the crash told the Chinese daily that he had heard a loud noise at the back of his vehicle.
Witnesses also claimed that before the accident, the victim was fetching his 8-year-old daughter back from school. While on the way home, the door of a car parked by the roadside suddenly opened.
In order to avoid the car door, the victim swerved his motorcycle but lost control of it.
Despite the chaotic situation, the victim had the presence of mind to shove his daughter to the side of the road before he collided into the lorry, where his motorcycle went right beneath the vehicle.
Died at the scene
Gombak district police chief Assistant Commissioner Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said police were informed of the accident at 6.11pm.
Unfortunately, the victim didn’t survive and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics due to severe injuries to his head and body, reported Berita Harian.
As for his daughter, she sustained injuries to her head and hands and was rushed to the Selayang Hospital for treatment.
