Forgetting something before a flight is stressful enough. Forgetting your passport only after reaching the airport is probably on another level.
A man found himself in exactly that situation after arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) without his passport.
He quickly called a friend for help after realising what had happened.
Friend rushed passport to KLIA on motorcycle
The man later shared a video of the incident on Threads.
In the clip, he could be seen anxiously waiting near the airport entrance for his passport to arrive.
Not long after, his friend showed up on a motorcycle with arguably the most important item of the day in hand, his passport.
The relief was immediate.
Upon seeing his friend, the man rushed over and enthusiastically kissed him several times to thank him for coming to the rescue.

Desperate times call for desperate displays of affection.
According to Sin Chew Daily, he situation was especially nerve-racking as the man said his parents were already waiting for him at the boarding gate.
Other passengers had also begun boarding the flight, meaning there was little time left for him to make it through.
Thankfully, his friend managed to get the passport to him before it was too late.
The incident has since served as a pretty effective reminder for travellers to check for their passport before leaving home.
