A local man in his 40s reportedly fell to his death at an apartment in Kuching, Sarawak this afternoon.
According to Harian Metro, the victim was believed to have fallen from the 14th floor of the apartment located along Jalan Batu Lintang at around 2.10pm.
A spokesperson for the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department’s Operations Centre said in a statement that they received an emergency call regarding the incident at 2.15pm.
A team from the Batu Lintang Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene and they found the victim’s body on the fourth floor of the apartment.
The victim was pronounced dead by health officials and the body was handed over to the police for further action.
The spokesperson added that firefighters assisted in managing the scene before handing the case to police for further investigation.
