Reported by Harian Metro, Abdul Halim is resolved to auction his unique automobile for RM65,000, hoping to alleviate the hardships faced by Palestinians amidst the Israeli military operations in Gaza.

“The Gaza Strip has been enduring attacks for over a month. While prayers are powerful, tangible assistance is equally crucial. I believe selling my treasured belongings is a meaningful way to contribute,” Abdul expressed.

Wife supports his decision

This 41-year-old’s decision is backed wholeheartedly by his wife, with an understanding that the car sale’s proceeds will be entirely donated to the Palestinian Humanitarian Fund.

This car, a Nissan Laurel C35, is a rarity in Malaysia, with only four such models in the country, one of which has been under Abdul’s care.

The announcement of the sale has garnered considerable attention and interest.

Abdul revealed to Harian Metro that within a day of advertising on Facebook, three prospective buyers have shown an interest, planning visits to his home in Kajang, Selangor, to inspect the car.

Listed at RM65,000, Abdul remains open to negotiation. He takes pride in the car’s excellent condition, having recently upgraded it.

The car, a purchase from a friend in Japan, has been Abdul’s prized possession for the last three years.
