Potholes are not only an eyesore, but they also pose a danger to road users as it can cause them to fall and suffer severe injuries or even death when they drive over it.
Tired of the authorities’ lack of action in fixing potholes, a man took it upon himself to voice his displeasure in a very artistic and graphic way (and we really mean it when we say graphic!)
M’sian man makes genital-like paintings to protest against pothole
In a 51-second video posted by Lando Zawawi Vrus on Sunday (Jan 14), it showed a man painting a stretch of road which had a pothole on it.
First, he started off with the pothole by drawing a large square and circle around it before finishing it off by drawing several lines connecting the square outline to the circle, making it resemble a vagina.
He then moved on to draw a big, white arrow pointing towards the pothole. However, presumably to make a stronger point, he proceeded to add a curvy, ball-like drawing to the end of the arrow, where one could safely assume it was meant to mimic a pair of testicles.
As the finishing touch to his ‘masterpiece’, the man painted the words ‘AWAS’ (Beware) and ‘BH SUBEST’.
According to the post’s caption, the man was reportedly tired of not seeing the authorities springing into action to fix the pothole located along Persiaran Atmosfera at Subang Bestari heading towards Elmina.
And it seemed that the man’s tactic worked because the OP later revealed in the comment section that the pothole was fixed the very next day.
